  • Based on our teaching experience and expertise, students are able to learn approximately 30 seconds of choreography per session. (For example, a 1.5 minute routine generally requires about 3 sessions to complete).
  • Once a group size is established prior to the commencement of the private lesson(s), all participants are responsible for full payment of the session regardless of attendance, as choreography practice videos are provided to all participants.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
  • Additional fees may be assessed for travel exceeding 10 miles from Let’s Bollywood’s studio location, rental of third-party studio space, or other circumstances as needed. All fees will be disclosed and agreed upon in advance.
  • You are welcome to provide your own music, or a complimentary music track can be created by Let’s Bollywood upon request. The track will be a basic compilation of songs; Let’s Bollywood does not provide professional music editing or custom remixes.

Note: Let’s Bollywood is an instruction-based dance company and does not endorse or sell digital choreography. Practice videos are provided solely as a learning aid for enrolled students or private clients. We take pride in our passion for teaching and directly interacting with our students, as we believe that a classroom is the most effective medium for learning to dance.

Policies

Payment Policies:

  • The registration fee is a one-time fee per active enrollment period and may be paid with the first month’s tuition. Class space is not reserved until registration and payment are complete. This fee does not apply to walk-in students.
  • Monthly tuition is due before the first class of each month. A late fee of $5 per 7-day period will be applied if payment is not received on time (e.g., 1-7 days late = $5; 8-14 days late = $10). For walk-in students, payment is due prior to each attended class.
  • Payments are accepted via cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. Cash payments must be handed directly to the instructor or confirmed via text. Receipts or confirmations available upon request.
  • Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Absences for any reason— including illness, school events, or vacation/travel— do not result in refunds, credits/proration, or makeup classes. Practice videos are provided as part of tuition. Receipt of these videos constitutes active enrollment for that month, and payment is required even if a student misses all scheduled classes during that month. Walk-in students receive practice videos only for classes they attend.
    • At this time, makeup classes are not offered due to limited class offerings. If additional comparable batches open in the future, Let’s Bollywood may introduce a makeup class option at its discretion. Availability of a makeup option may vary by batch.
  • Regular students may, with advance written notice prior to the first class of the month, temporarily switch to walk-in attendance or take a break for up to 2 months total per calendar year (consecutive or non-consecutive). Exceeding this limit requires paying the registration fee again upon returning to regular monthly enrollment.
  • Tuition proration is offered only during the summer months of Jun-Aug and only with advance written notice of planned absences (including the specific dates the student will be absent) prior to the first class of the month; summer absences without advance notice are not eligible for proration. Tuition will also be prorated or credited for staff-initiated class cancellations.

Competitions and Performances:

  • As is customary, any awards, winnings, or prize money earned through dance competitions entered by or under the name Let’s Bollywood belong to Let’s Bollywood, unless otherwise specified in writing.
  • For paid performances, gigs, or special events contracted through Let’s Bollywood, selected dancers may receive compensation, which will be disclosed in advance.

Class Conduct & Etiquette:

  • Students are expected to treat instructors and classmates with respect.
  • To prevent distraction, parents are not permitted in the instruction area, except for the last 5 minutes of class.
  • Class videos are sent regularly for practice to support student growth and for parents to observe progress.

Class Changes & Discontinuation:

  • Classes are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. Let’s Bollywood reserves the right to cancel, merge, or reschedule classes, and to substitute instructors on a temporary or permanent basis when necessary.
  • To discontinue classes, a minimum two-week written notice is required. Pro-rated tuition remains due during the notice period.
  • Non-attendance without payment and without advance written notice for a period of two consecutive months will be considered an implied discontinuation. Outstanding balances for those months remains due.
  • If a student has discontinued and later returns, registration will be required again.
  • Let’s Bollywood reserves the right to refuse enrollment or discontinue services to any student at its discretion, including but not limited to cases of disruptive behavior, safety concerns, repeated policy violations, or failure to meet class requirements. All fees remain subject to the payment policies.

Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk:

  • Participation in dance classes and events/performances involves inherent physical risks. By enrolling, students (or parents/guardians) voluntarily assume all risks. Let’s Bollywood LLC, its instructors, and affiliates are not liable for any accident, injury, illness, or damage. A signed Legal Release is required as part of registration.
  • Let’s Bollywood does not provide medical or accident insurance. Students (or parents/guardians) are responsible for maintaining their own personal health insurance coverage.
  • Ongoing medical conditions or needs requiring special attention must be disclosed on the registration form. Instructors must be informed of any new, temporary, or changing conditions, including injuries, pain, aches, or other health concerns, prior to participation.
  • Students are responsible for their own personal property. Let’s Bollywood is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

Media Consent: By enrolling, students (or parents/guardians) grant Let’s Bollywood permission to use photos or videos taken during classes or events for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes, without compensation. Written opt-out requests must be submitted in advance. Retroactive removal requests may not be honored.
